This comment may well be met with a collective "duh", but it sure seems that '47-52 models are the ones most seen in these photos, doesn't it? I know it has to do with sales volume and continuity of style in those years.Bill Pressler

Dont know much about this other than the date was 1961. Was in the suitcase of photos my Mom's cousin brought to a family reunion this weekend. Probably someone's vacation from that summer.
UPDATE!
Things you find on the internet.
This ship the "Woldingham Hill" was built in 1943 and was used for ocean shipping into the 1950s. In the later years it was used on the St Lawrence seaway. Probably where it was when this 1961 photo was taken. Scrapped in 1967.
