    That certainly is an eclectic assortment of cars, isn't it? I mean, all those cheapies but still a 1959 and 1960 Cadillac and that "limo."

    • The red small car in #7227 is a Renault Dauphine.

      • You are probably right Noxnabaker, I thought it looked small too, but thought it may be pulled in farther. If it is a Dauphine, it was probably abandoned, ha ! Lots of troubles with those little buggers, although I liked their looks !

        • All these pics make me think, "Take out the '47-52 Studes and there wouldn't be many pics left". I think that says how popular, overall, they were as new cars and that they did indeed generally last a long time.

              There was nothing wrong with the Renault Dauphine that a half decent dealer network in North America wouldn't have fixed. Factory support was haphazard at best, too.

              • For repair work we pulled Renault engine, transaxle, wheels and tires as one unit. Called it a 'Smokey Stover' car.
