    Taking a shot at it: I think the cars are Triumph sedans. The Triumph Mayflower came over in the early fifties as to try to break into the American market but was not successful. They could be possibly Standards as well. Just the styling says English original. I could not see if the cars were right hand drive but if they were, that would also be a clue as to origin. My other thought is an Austin or a Morris. Before the British-Leyland combine happened, the British car industry did flourish with several different companies.

    Thanks Bob. You were on the money when you said Morris for the two dark coloured cars. Even though one car is partially obscured, there is enough visible to know that it is the same as the one in front of it. They are both Morris 8 Series E saloons. The light coloured car is a Ford Prefect. Because of Commonwealth preference (no import duties), English cars - principally Austin, Morris, Hillman and English Ford - were popular in Canada and sold well in Vancouver beginning in the early 1930's.
