In Pic #1 That MAY be a very young Sammy the "lot man" who did the Dealership Cleaning, Car cleanup, Wash, Wax etc. with the Coke in hand.

The Salesman in Pic #2 showing the '51 4 Door is the Sales Manager Mr. Heisler.

Since this was taken in 1958 I see a White '58 Hardtop against the Showroom Wall and to it's Left in Frank Afton's private Parking spot, in the far rear of the Pic #1 is the driver's window & Windshield of the Black '58 President Sedan that Frank ordered for his personal Driver for a few Months in '58.
Right next to the President is the Showroom Double Doors that the Cars were driven into the Showroom through.

That very '58 President I later in 1969, found on a lot on Melrose Ave. in Hollywood and is in my Garage right now! Frank always drove Black "Y" Body Cars whenever possible.

In the background of Pic #2 is the wash Rack under the Carport where Sammy worked a good part of the Day, and the Wing to it's Right is the Wheel Alignment Shop, to it's right would be the Body and Paint Shop out of the Picture.

AWESOME, Awesome, awesome! These are the ONLY Pics I have of the Dealership Dad was a New Car Salesman at, in Inglewood, Calif. from '55 to '62, let alone my Car when it was NEW!
All I can say is that I found these at this blog site. Here is the link:http://gorillasdontblog.blogspot.com...?q=automobiles

Also I think I posted this photo earlier. It seems to be the same place and time, but note the Ford dealership.

Yes! As others have noted, it is the new to 1952 concrete sidewalk, which subsequently got replaced when Atherton Street (U.S. Route 322) got widened to four and eventually five lanes through town. Now the 322 bypass (Mount Nittany Expressway) alleviates the need for through traffic driving through town. All the houses on the left in the first picture are still there.
Anyone traveling from the north to the Keystone National Swapmeet in Reedsville prior to November 17, 2008 experienced this stretch of road.

The Ford Dealership and a Goodyear Tire Store believe it or not, are clear across THE Major Downtown Business Street in Inglewood; Market St.
There is a Gray & White '56 Power Hawk with the Sky Hawk Check Mark Two Tone Paint job at the Tire Store across the St.

Interesting that you mentioned those Hubcaps Ed, on the Black '57 Silver Hawk. Those are the Stock Studebaker "baby moon type Caps that Chris at Studebaker of Australia on another Post yesterday, does not realize were Standard on all '56 and '57 Studes. using the removable "Clips" on the slotted 5 Inch wide Stock wheels.

Behind the Green & White '56 Olds 88 2 door Sedan in 6991 & 6993, you can see the White Steel Picket Fence that separates the Dealership from the near Sidewalk on the East side of Market St. This shows that the "Depth of Field" of the Photo condenses things a bit.

I emailed Dave (Major Pepperidge) the owner of the Gorrillasdontblog Website/Blog and he told me these 4 Pics are pretty much all of the Cars Pics he has of the Los Angeles Area.

He restored some damaged 35mm Slides to get them to look this good.

And he shared this Link with me to the actual blog area where ALL 4 of the Pics are.

Let's head back to 1958, shall we? Destination: Inglewood, California (a city in southwestern Los Angeles). For some reason, somebody took ...
