              No offense taken, Joe. I kept squinting, looking at that picture to make sure I didn't miss a Studebaker somewhere far in the background before I posted anything! I finally had to conclude that maybe you thought the wagon up front was a Studebaker.

              Keep up the good work. This is a wonderful thread, with you and Dave Lester providing so many good memories of "the way things ought to be," that is, with Studebakers all over the place!

              One thing to which this thread testifies is the number of bullet-nose cars Studebaker built; over a half-million of them in only two model years. They show up all over the place.

                            • In #6912, the Interurban Building on the right is still there, but the old hotel was replaced by the 'sinking ship' parking garage. So named because it is triangular (as the old hotel was) and streets on either side go uphill giving the illusion of the bow of a ship afloat with the stern under water.
