I remember a number of houses from that era including a family friend's house with a window in the garage door, ranging from the South Bay area to Norwalk to the San Fernando Valley.Originally posted by kurtruk View PostIs that a disguised garage door in front of the Caddy, or had they already converted the garage in to more living space? My grandmother always laughs when she talks about remembering back in the late '50 when AC was seen as a luxury item in cars, people driving around their small Texas town with the windows rolled up.
