    Bob, I did not even think of that but you are absolutely correct. I wonder if somebody from corporate saw this dealership and liked that logo. I do not know where this dealership was located.

                        • For those who are interested 5845 and 5846 were taken on East San Francisco St in Santa Fe, NM. The shops on the side of the street have been redone (in Santa Fe Style, of course) so that looks different now in Google street view, but the cathedral at the end of the block is the giveaway. The photographer was standing in front of hotel La Fonda. You can decide for yourself which order these two images were taken. The blue pickup may have been repainted and is still parked there in the Google street view.

                                That photo provides a dramatic example of how much automobiles changed in roughly a decade. Truly, the 1930s were the industry's most challenging decade while being the decade in which the most progress was made in automobile design and execution in a ten-year period.
