                  • These two were taken in Yakima WA 1955, at the machine shop which used to be on the east end of Yakima Ave where the free-way overpass now stands. The unit in the truck is an ammonia compressor, which was used to refrigerate fruit storage warehouses in the valley until the early 60's when Freon began to take over. the woman in the door way is my grandmother.

                            A load of 1961 Larks and Hawks destined for (I'm guessing) Madren Brothers Studebaker on North Market Street in downtown Hillyard (Northeast Spokane Washington).
