                        Cool pic.......wonder if that Lark has a R2 in it? The stripes are certainly interesting, and the big ball on the door where a number would go.

                            Yes, it does, Paul.

                            That is indeed a prototype R2 Super Lark. The history of that specific car is known; cousin George Krem has corresponded with the car's original owner. It would be better if George posted the particulars because it would be second hand if I did so and I might have forgotten a detail or two that would require George's correction.

                            I'm not sure how much George follows Studebakers in Roadside Americana, but I will bring this post to his attention and ask him to post comments. BP
