  • Ah, Much better. Is that a COE coming towards the camera on the North bound side? With the Interstate 5 coming in, very few people will see that spot any more. Encinitas which is a few miles North was quite a bottle neck.

When they were building new bridges for I-90 a few miles beyond this view, I was stopped for construction, and my '51 Commander stalled out; I was at the front of a HUGE line of cars. Fortunately some workers helped push me off to the side and all was well after the car cooled off.

                      • Admittedly lots of Mopars in that San Diego traffic jam photo. Whoever wants them can have them.. I personally would take that Porsche. I can't tell if it's a Speedster or a Convertible D, but that really matters not. They are both now very desirable models. Brenda and I drove to get married in my last Porsche, a 1958 356A coupe. Tom
