          • Bob P., that's easy to answer....the Chevy broke down and they have it under there to work on it...or...the Stude is tougher and won't rust as fast. Did anyone notice what looks like 39 Ford tail lights on the Studebaker ?

                It also appears to have the very rare independent rear suspension option.

                  Well...the wood slats in the Chevy beds tended to rot a lot faster when not kept under cover.

                  • Here is the photo that Mike Hundt from Brookfield Wisc recently forwarded to me of his dad's dealership in c1947. In my collection I located an envelope dated 1963 that was sent to Studebaker from the dealership. It shows the street address. I will let Mike fill in any other information he deems appropriate. The dealership was also mentioned on this forum back in 2010 by Frank Drumheller. http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.c...highlight=Hund
