The building is still there. Here it is as it looked a few years ago. Now the tree in front has grown so it is hard to see the building.

I just noticed the numerical address on the front of the photo you posted: 660. That is verified by the dealer tag I photographed inside the school bus, so we know it is the same place.

Marriner's Restaurant is still in this location in Camden, Maine, from what I see on Google. The license plates appear to be 1956 with a 1957 renewal tab.

The license plates are not from North America. The Vauxhall and the Thames van are of British manufacture, as are possibly all the vehicles except the Studebaker. The license plates definitely are not British, and with such low license numbers my guess is that this scene is from a country or colony with British influence and a limited number of vehicles.
