              That's because all the Studebaker owners were at work at the factory, the night watchman was in his pickup on his way to work

                        • This Studebaker electric was on of two such vehicles used to shuttle members of Congress from their office buildings to the Capital when the tunnel between them first opened in 1909. Today there is a subway type system that does this. This comes from Hemmings.com
