Pre-OSHA days-no safety glasses, open moving belts....etc. But a cool period shot of a machinist at work (using a South Bend Lathe???)!

                • Paul Burden of Fredericton, New Brunswick bought one of these Lark panel station wagons for his stationery business. I have never seen another one. Does anyone know how many were built, and how much they differed from normal station wagons?

Looks like he's machining a McCulloch supercharger!

                        • #4264, what's in front of the Lark, a Lancia?

                          • #4259 The dude watching everyone work looks like he is on his tip toes trying to pull his pants up even FARTHER!

#4266 That '59 or '60 Hawk V8 looks quite elegant with the long hood and only the front showing.

#4269 Seems a bit late in '53 or '54 or later based on the Ford, to be running a Horse and Wagon doesn't it.

                              Peugeot 404 coupe, maybe?
