            Like you said, the vehicle in question looks like a Jeep to me. Even when enlarging the picture, I can not find a Studebaker in that shot. It is a cool old picture though.

              Agreed; Howard; I was not able to enlarge it, so if you can and it looks like a 1963 and up Jeep Gladiator of Wagoneer, we'll go with that.

              My theory on maybe being a Lark was that since the car is at the extreme edge of the photo, lens distortion might have made the grille look taller than it is, but apparently not.
