Glad to see you back Sam. Don't be a stranger!
That is the trouble with most of these old Photos, no one has much if any info about them.StudeRich

That is an awesome Pic in post #3507, I vote for the Imperial Limo as the culprit, it has no rear end damage. But what is hard to figure out is, what about the Car with the completely Crushed rear end way out in the intersection?
The Last car to be hit at the front of the line, got the worst of it? That does not compute, it must have been at the rear.
Maybe some Cars have been already removed?
And I really like #3515 Joe, no I don't think it was posted not in this String anyway.
Did you raid the files of an old, closed Photo printing shop or something? That is a LOT of cool old Photos.StudeRich

Regarding post # 3507, as an accident investigator for the school where I work I would suggest that the car in the intersection got hit first. A chain reaction then occurred with the rest of the cars. The one in the intersection probably did not have his brakes on at the moment of impact suggested by the lack of skid marks. This would account for it being pushed out and away from the rest of the wrecks. Everyone else were on the brakes at the moment they hit the car ahead of them.
Without being on the scene to do a more thorough investigation and with only one photo to go by, that is my best assessment.Ed Sallia

I should have recognized the location as I lived less than a kilometre from here from 1970 to 1974, and used the rotary every day. However between 1961 and 1970 a new brick church was built, some of the houses in the background were replaced by commercial buildings, and the rotary itself was modified significantly.Bill Jarvis
