          • The giant hatpin inserted in the photo (#3254) tells me the photo came from Reminisce magazine.

                  • #3262 has 2 of my favourite cars!
Had -62 Plymouth H.T. once, from 160 km/h it really steadied itself, thanx to the horizontal fins "all over the car", even with BIG play in the steering-linkage balls.
Good stance & wheels probably also helped...

                    • I was startled when I first saw the gold Studebaker coupe in 3262. It looked like my old '55 Commander. It was that same color. Then I realized mine was not set up like that one. I suppose someone could have acquired it after me and made those modifications.

                          • Last night we watched the movie Mandela. There was a scene with at least two Studebakers in it...a 64 cruiser and a hawk. Made me smile.

This is about the fifth of sixth different photo of perhaps the same Studebaker doing the Lincoln highway tour. I wonder if all these photos and more are published in a book somewhere.

Not the same car, Craig. the Kearney, Nebraska car has a windshield mounted spotlight, and a horn and tool box on the running board. It is definitely a six. The car in this post is a four.
