    • Does anybody recognize this picture? The Studebaker logo leads me to believe the building was once a Studebaker dealership. It seems to be a Plymouth dealership at the time the picture was taken. The Simca out front is also interesting as I know of two nearby Studebaker dealers who also sold Simcas.

            So, you had to go all the way to Texas to find a Studebaker? I really love these shots of Studebakers in everyday life.

                          • The Merle's Drive-in in post #3252 with the Chrysler convertible and the Commander convertible closed a few years ago. It recently re-opened (same building) as The Habit (a growing hamburger chain). It is in Visalia, Ca., and yes, our Mr. Biggs frequents it regularly with the Mrs.
