OMG, now everybody with a 1960 Ford Starliner is going to be examining their RF fender peak molding for tell-tale scuff marks in that location and if they find any, will be claiming it was used in a Kennedy campaign...I can just see the e-bay or Barrett-Jackson hype. BP

I would rather have the '60 Lark with "cheek" prints in the front fender <g>

I'd say it is not. I blew it up to 700% (great resolution, BTW) and I don't see Stude taillights. I'll defer to others.
What I want to know is what the heck is that car behind it (closest to us). Looks like a very square fastback...

        • Well kurtruk, that's a Oldsmobile Tornado.
& the taxi is a mid 60's Dodge, probably Coronet, really good cars...

          • Agreed on the subject car being a 1965 or so Dodge Coronet taxi, assuming we are talking about the car immediately in front of the Toronado; the car that just cleared the intersection.

Another clue is this: If you blow it up and look at the car that has just turned the corner, going right and partially obscured by the light pole, it looks to be an identical taxi, and that looks like a Coronet, too. BP

Now that I see it on a bigger computer screen, I think you're right.

Yes, indeed. I really like this picture because of the variety of automobiles in it.

                            • Good point, Joe.

Let's see, on the right: Packard, Chevrolet, Chevrolet Panel Delivery, ???? woodie wagon, 1959 Ford.

In the street: Plymouth (or Dodge?) in the immediate foreground, 1956 Chevrolet(?) down by the bus

Left: Lincoln, Buicks(2), Chrysler, Edsel, Cadillac, Studebaker Starliner with wire wheel covers(!) and gas filler opening gaurd(!), 1952-1954 Ford Tudor, dark coupe (???), Ford station wagon? Gets blurry after that, even when enlarging. Possibly a 1956 Plymouth wagon in a light color, further down.

Great photo, as you say. BP

                              • Does the Studebaker have an aftermarket 'toilet seat' on the decklid, or am I seeing things?

The Packard is a 1948 22nd series Super or Custom, based on the painted bumper insert and horizontal bar dividing the taillamp. Has an accessory backup lamp.

                                There's a black car between the green 1956 Cadillac ragtop and the 1959 Edsel 2dr H/T. Appears to be a 1949/52 GM "C" body (Chevrolet/Pontiac/Olds 88).

That's a 1946/48 Plymouth headin' down the road.
