This was in a booklet from Nixa, MO the A, B, C's of Nixa. A friend of ours, Gary Sanders gave me this booklet because of the picture that was in it. He wanted me to scan it and post it on the Studebaker Forum. The Lark that's in the picture set a National AHRA record at Springfield-Ozark Dragway in 1964. It was a little stock eliminator class that he set the record in. Even though that he had put a bigger 4 barrel carb on it, they still allowed the run. He told me the other night at Nixa cruise, to get the card to fit the intake manifold, he fashioned an adapter out of a piece of wood to get it so the butterflys on the carb would open. I don't remember him saying what transmission he was running in the car or what rear end ratio. Now he is into Chrysler products. He has 3 of the Dodge Daytona wing cars, RT Chargers, and a mod top Plymouth Barricuda notch back.
We bought a car for our grand daughter Madison, a 1962 Lark, 2 door hardtop, 289, automatic from him.
He also has a fully restored full size steam engine. Plus one of every John Deere built from the early years up to the middle 70's.
