Good one, Kurt. Check out the 1958 Ford Skyliner near the Studebaker. That's a rare piece. BP

    • More useless trivia here.
Flat River, MO was at the intersection of Highway 8 and County road M, but alas no longer exists.
FYI, some years ago Flat River and some other small burg(s) became the city of Park Hills.
Also FYI, 1940's singer Ms. Dorothy Shea (aka the Manhatten Hillbilly) had a song titled "Flat River Missouri."
Also FYI, that dome in the baclground would be "lead tailings" from the big time lead mines then in operation there.

Thank you for the trivia. I was curious as to what that dome was.

        • Actually it's probably silica (sand) as a large glass factory is located in Park Hills....the lead mines are further south.

Must have been 'interesting' living near that pile of silica under certain wind conditions!

              • I've had a few Charcoal Steaks come off of my barbeque in the past...

BTW: Love those Chrysler/DeSoto station wagons of the type shown.

                      • I never saw such short -60 Plymouth STW or Dodge convertible before...
& if the Imperial coupe would've been red it might've been my old one, but no, mine was also longer...
