  • Roll Call For South Bend

It looks like I might make it. My wife is going to a nursing home she is awake but not walking. The gas doesn't bother me to bad. But I need to get away and need some parts to finish the wagon. The kids can take over. If you see a old man wearing a black cap with "56 Studebaker" on it that's probably me.

I'll have my Forum button on my cap with my screen name on it, stop and say "hi"

55s offered me a ride to SB and my appointment schedule won't allow it I'll miss this year, but targeting to drive a Stude there next year. Have a wonderful time!

Ill be there as well, hoping for nice weather it was a bit cold and windy last year. I was so worried about all those Hawk hoods that were open with that wind.

Sorry to hear about your wife, Carl. Nice to hear, at least, that your children share your interest with the car. Sometimes it seems too often to go the other way. All the best to you and yours.

As usual, barring any emergencies that arise next week, I'll probably be there, but it may be on a smaller budget than in years past. It's not the fuel(LOL, at 4.19 a gallon, heck, we like gassing up as far away from metropolitan Chicago as possible in these instances), it's everything else that will make this trek a little more difficult, considering what had happened since last year. So in short we should be there if God is willing and da creek don't rise. We are also in the same situation where if we can get away for a few days, it's more than a welcome relief. I also need some parts for the Lark and the '55.

Carl, I hope Betty keeps improving, too. The Shelbyville meet wasn't the same without you both. May you find lots of good wagon parts in Studetown.
