Thanks Bob! I ordered the 3 Indexes and the books on the Studebaker railroads.
I also ordered one of John Clarke's (PlainBrownR2) Studebaker engine calendars.

John V.!!
I can't add a heck of a whole lot onto what's already been said. I'm doing a little bit of publishing with them as a pet project of sorts, and not just with only the calendar stuff. I would say that with the experience with them, that it's wonderful for a first timer who likes to write since the publishing end is free to use. But if you want to get serious, like with taking your account and joining it with Ebay, Amazon, or the nearly now defunct Borders, you'll need to pull out the money since the consulting and big time advertising end is not. It is a common complaint over there with the writers that the shipping is a little lax, but the quality is above reproach, and the writers seem to like Lulu's approach to publishing their stuff.1964 Studebaker Commander R2 clone

Excellent, all.
I'm pleasantly surprised at the response and the numbers ordered.
It sure beats posting on the Fourm, "In what issue of Turning Wheels was the article on the battery cap vent hole diameter running change during the 1952 model year?" or some such, and waiting for someone else to tell you where it is a couple hours later...if at all. <GGG> BP

Gary, and Bob... you each represent many years of hard work, dedication, and devotion to Studebakers and SDC. I thank each of you for that.
You guys each have different ways of expressing yourselves, and, therefore, will clash on occasion.
Keeping that in mind, please, be kind to one another!
If you don't, how do you expect the rest of us to act?Last edited by Studedude; 02-04-2011, 07:01 PM.sigpic

This would be great advice for the few who have allowed their emotions to get the best of them and stopped participating over simple disagreements... and the few who have let themselves develop grudges over simple forum posts. We all are different and see things differently- and have differing senses of humor.

Got my Index today and WOW, what a resource! I cannot imagine the amount of work that went into compiling that. I wouldn't even know how to start! This is now a prized addition to my collection.
Thanks, Bob, for giving us the 'heads-up' on this, and thanks to Jan Young for creating this. The Studebaker world rocks!!Proud NON-CASO

Precision System Index becomes more valuable by the day as newer people join the Studebaker hobby and acquire complete collections of Turning Wheels. BP
