  • '56-'58 Sedan/Wagon Registry- input anyone??

As some of you may remember awhile back I decided to start a registry for ALL sedans/wagons from 1956 to 1958. This includes the Packards of '57 and '58.
I've been noticing that many 'regulars' here who own one have not yet registered with me. [:0] Beat the rush and do it now! Things are going to pick up a bit here in the next month or so~ when you see what I'm talking about~ you'll know...

If you have one (or more) of these great sedans or wagons:
    • 1956 President/Pinehurst
    • 1956 Commander/Parkview
    • 1956 Champion/Pelham
    • 1957 Packard Town Sedan/Country Sedan
    • 1957 President/Broadmoor
    • 1957 Commander/Provincial/Parkview
    • 1957 Champion/Pelham
    • 1957 Scotsman
    • 1958 Packard
    • 1958 President
    • 1958 Commander/Broadmoor
    • 1958 Champion
    • 1958 Scotsman

I'm looking for the following information:
    • Owner/location
    • Serial Number
    • Body Tag information
    • Color/Colors
    • Options
    • Status (show/driver/parts/'other')
    • Have build sheet? (yes/no)

You can email me here~ studedavesregistry 'at' sbcglobal.net
Please include 'Registry' in the subject line.

Pretty hardtop. Any chance this is the one that was for sale for the longest time in Los Banos? I kept telling myself I should buy it (this was about 10 years ago and the guy had it priced at $2500 and it came with a WEALTH of NOS and Used parts as well!), but never did.[8]

        Miscreant adrift in
        the BerStuda Triangle

        1957 Transtar 1/2ton
        1960 Larkvertible V8
        1958 Provincial wagon
        1953 Commander coupe

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

No...The car was an Ebay purchase catastrophe last year...came out of Virginia and I believe the car has spent its whole life on the East coast as it was sold new out of Plymouth, Mass. The car you are thinking of is just finishing a resto in S.Cal owned by Frank Wenzel...with luck it'll be at South Bend.

StudeDave57, Ihave a 56 2dr Champion sedan. Is this included on the registry? I was wondering, I thought you were looking for just wagons and 4drs for some reason? If you want the info on my car I'll get it to you this weekend.

When I first started this, I was initailly only looking for '57s, but the response had been so minimal that I've gone ahead and opened it up to the full list of what I plan to cover. That list is on my thread starter, and does indeed include your car. Please send it to me when you can, just be sure to send it to the email addie listed 'up-top' on the thread starter~ Thanks!
Now if only I could get all the others out there to do the same.
If you own one of these cars~

                    SEND ME YOUR INFO PLEASE!!!!

                            Hello,
                            I have a 1957 President Classic
                            Brian Millette
                            Anthem AZ
                            Serial No: 72098945
                            Tag: 57 HY6 5517
                            Color: Taupe and Artic White
Options: Push Button Radio, TT, Automatic, Spoke Type Wheel Covers,
Chrome exhaust tips, rare legitimate brake fluid reservoir attached to fire wall.
                            Show/Driver
I have build sheet--car was sold to Lueck Motor Sales in Danube MN and was built in late July of 1957.
Mileage is actual and is around 81,000

Also, these are others that are in the North Star Chapter. In that chapter there are two 57 President Classics, one show and one driver, a 58 Packard 4 door driver, a 57 President two door that needs total restoration and another 57 President Classic being restored. In addition the North Star Chapter Roster shows another 57 President, a 57 President Classic, a 56 President 4 door, another 57 President 4 door and a 58 President HT that is definitely a driver. There is a 57 Packard 4dr, a 58 Packard 4 door and a 58 Packard HT listed as well as a 58 Commander 4 door.

One could write to the President of that chapter and see if any would like to be part of the registry. One of the Classics was my second car and is totally rust free with only 34,000+ original miles
