        Nice color.
Give 'em a chance - maybe they will make some Hawks to go with the trucks.

Those Hawks are Johnny Lightning; I forget who (Jada?) makes the '37 Coupe Expresses...both look stellar atop the Studelike COE flatbed. Maisto does already do a Stude too, a '53 Starliner rod, but it is not as cleanly or extensively detailed as the JLs (or Maisto's COEs).

I've been finding them at Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us. There are 6 different ones now.

Hi-peral I can get these for cost of purchase and postage if you are interested.

The Coupe Express was a series sold at Walgreens. There were at least 4 different ones availible. I don't see them on the peg anymore.

Maybe someone needs to send this thread to Maisto. But maybe the other car was what made the sale.

I guess that they put Riviera in quotes becuse it is customized.

What year and model is the Cadillac that you mention?

                        The Cadilac is a '65 I believe.

Those aren't quotes around Riviera...it reads BUICK TM RIVIERA TM! Corporate copyright, don'cha know. (You'd think, on those grounds, there'd be more diecast Studes out there; no huge automaker to deal with, licensing-wise...I'd like to lease part of the Hamilton Plant and manufacture diecast Studes there, just for, er, a lark...)

Oh, and those '37 CEs were part of a series that also included a couple Fords and an International or some such truck. They were all very nice little models. The "stock" CE came in three or four colours; there were also at least two "rodded" CEs, one in Speedsteresque green-and-yellow and one in two-tone purple. I have the stocker in white and, I think, a green-and-yellow rod version.
