Iced in here and bored. Reading through some old magazines. Aug 1960 issue of CARS has a total of 3 articles relating to Studebakers. One about Champ pickups, one about Studebaker fleet sales, and one about a Champ toting around an amphibious camper. The fleet sales article is an absolutely glowing account of how well received the Lark was to taxi and rental companies. I wish there was some way to reprint this article so everyone of you could read it. One thing the fleet customers appreciated was the fact that the rear fenders on Lark Economilers were "unboltable" for ease of replacement. They also cited much lower costs of operation and higher rates of reliability. The guy who tested the Champ predicted great accptance by the buying public.[
