        That's all that was found....initially.
        After some more digging a SN60 serial # M 200 was discovered in a box from P​axton....NOS?

          It depends on the Date that was shipped as to if it is a NOS or Rebuilt Unit but good either way.
          Also I believe most rebuilt were Black.

          No offense taken Bob.....the sign is nice, however the plastic is very brittle and would need to be coated with something to move any distance for stability....as a result of this car purchase I now have a lead on a bunch of additional Studebaker parts....oh goody, more treasures. Are you still looking for a transmission? I think one of the ones of which we spoke is available....but no serial tages....but I can't image Bill having anything other than Avanti shite

        Yes Bill, I am still looking for a transmission. Keep me in mind in your negatiotions and you know what I am willing to pay. Going away tomorrow for a week and will not have access to a computer. Will catch up on progress next weekend.

            Na....the location is 'top secret' tighter than Fort Knox.....information is hard to get, I'm working on it, at one time the guy (deseased) had a house full of Studie parts, until the house burnt down that is. He parts and cars stuffed into several buildings I'm told....I hope I can have a look soon, I've got my hazmat suite packed.

          Amazing!! What some people do! Any treasures in the 1/2 ton of garbage it was buried in? It really is rewarding to save a little bit of beautiful history.
