I would sure love to have that sign in the background. That’s a fabulous find on its own

Rich, I think so. Looks between the sign on the wall and the gold Avanti. Looks like a convertible sedan of some sort to me (however not positive given the single picture).

Capitan Billy, I found ours in 1988 that hadn't been driven or started since 1975, poured gas in it, fired it up and blew all the critters and stuff out of the pipes, drove it 9 miles to the house and left a stream of ???? all the way home my wife and son said ( they were following me ) , lol. It had been outside the whole time partially under a tarp behind the owners house in Nashville, TN. The oil pan was completely full with mostly old gas to the top of the dipstick almost , so I figured I'd ruined the engine after I drove it home. I took it apart, measured and cleaned, put it back together with new bearings, gaskets, and rings, and we drove it as a regular car and even raced it at the drags a lot until we sold it in 2009. Oh, I blew a coat of paint on it after driving it the 1st year to work just to change the color. Can't kill them babies !!! Great find and congrats ! This is after I'd cleaned it up some, look kinda' familiar ? Perhaps those gold ones are more reliable, lol. The red pic is several years after I'd painted it. Click image for larger version

Maybe that's why he had the engine.
