clicking on the International meet link gives me next to nothing. What is ICS? what this world needs is 12 more acronyms. Note that I use Linux based computers. Programming language on a Windows based computer isn't always compatible with other operating systems.
woops I looked again I guess there is nothing to see

Mark Wheeler, I appreciate what you do for the living breathing Studebaker Drivers Club! The website looks great! Life would be boring without change. Thank you!

I agree. Too many acronyms these days. Every time I talk to my 20-something neighbor across the street, I have to Google their phrases to figure out what they are talking about!
ICS is a calendar file you can download to your device. With compatible apps, this file will automatically add the event to your calendar (e.g. Outlook).
The International Meet link should work now. I just completed the SDC Intl Meet web site yesterday.

I like it Mark. Good work bringing the site into the 21st Century! And it works great on my iPhone 6. Thanks.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see any difference from when I last logged on back in December. I'm not on the forum anywhere near as often as I was before I retired so I was unaware of any changes / updates.

It's not this forum we're discussing, Dick. It's the Studebaker Drivers Club whole web site, of which this forum is but one aspect.

The site was due for a makeover. I like it. Easy to navigate too.

I went there. Nice pictures, ....but I don't get it. Where are the links to anything other than joining SDC ?
How the heck is anyone to find their way -from there to here?
As I am already a signed up member, don't find anything useful on that page that would lead me to ever visit it again.

Oh OK. found the hidden links. I tend to think by lacking prominently displayed links you might lose some newcomers along the way; 'Nice pictures, but I'm not interested in signing up.' CLICK
Got to make it EASY to find and sample what the Forums have to offer.

                  .

On smaller devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets), the navigation bar collapses into a "hamburger" (three lines stacked). If you click or tap on this "hamburger", the navigation tabs will appear. This is a standard for web sites and apps today. It reduces the clutter of navigation links so that the main content of the web page is seen. The web site automatically determines if there is enough room to display the whole navigation bar or not. For example, on most PCs and Macs using a full screen, the navigation bar will appear. However, if the size of the screen (window) is reduced, the "hamburger" will appear instead. It takes some getting used to, but you will appreciate it when you navigate around the web site and just want to read the contents of a web page without the navigation links getting in the way.

P.S. I am considering putting a button on the main landing page of the SDC web site to jump to the SDC Forum (here). Web site statistics show that the number one reason people go to the SDC web site is to simply launch to the SDC Forum.

You also mentioned that you haven't received Turning Wheels. Are you sure that your SDC membership is up to date?

And then there are a lot of folks who are either directed to the Forum, or stumble on it, who remain unaware there even IS a SDC web site, or an SDC for that matter.

Why not put it back in focus and just paint little COVID masks on the identifiable people?
