Sourcing Non-split Rims for '63 Transtar

    Update: got old tires off rims... believe it or not some 20 something young man at a truck tire shop showed me how to remove the bead ring.. (using only a tire tool and hammer) did the rest myself.. no issues.. in the process of cleaning up rims.. before having the truck tire shop mount new tires.. thanks again for all the info and advice..

      I sandblasted and powder-coated my wheels and lock rings before mounting new tires. https://forum.studebakerdriversclub....-photos-part-1

        Great, glad to hear you got'er done!

        Can you please tell us What Brand and Size your new Tires are?
        Did you take Jack V's advice and buy 215X85R16 Radials and do the sidewalls of the Duals clear each other?
