Hey Claude I hope you make it to the swap meet in May. We haven't seen you in a year. I think I got older but don't think the little woman did. I put 3000 miles on the 51 about 500 on the 49 truck and 900 on the 48. And this year I have put 1500 miles on the 48 already.

                Hi Guys,
I think I spent GBP 3500.00 about US $7000.00on fuel last year driving Studebakers about 10,000 miles.

Price of gas today is US 2.08 per litre which is about $7.50 per gallon.

I have switched to driving my wifes Vauxhall Apology for this year as it is getting a little expensive to run my Studes every day. The money I have saved in the last few months has been amazing, but the driving totally bloody boring.

I guess if you're not driving a Studebaker it's nice to have an "apology".
