2007 Mileage

This is depressing! Due to my cut in wages, the price of gas and various reasons for less attendance at car shows, I only put about 2100 miles on the Hawk last year. I don't remember if I used the wagon much. I gotta rebuild the trans before the May swap meet.

I'll have to make it a point to drive more!

I feel the pain. I think I only drove my 63 about 900 miles last year.And when I do go to take it out, the wife always asks "Do we have money for the gas in this?" which makes me feel a little guilty on top of everything else...

Hey Claude I hope you make it to the swap meet in May. We haven't seen you in a year. I think I got older but don't think the little woman did. I put 3000 miles on the 51 about 500 on the 49 truck and 900 on the 48. And this year I have put 1500 miles on the 48 already.

Ya I had to let my 63 Champ sit in the garage a good part of this year,due to gas prices!!!not a happy camper by any means.it stays in when it rains or the roads are wet,though there were plenty of dry days it could have gone out.so I got stuck just driving my Toyota at 30 mpg.

Other than driving the Champ from Texas to Pennsylvania last summer, not too many miles on this end as well.


One would think that it would be a good time to find one of the Perkins diesel Larks - then I passed a station today where diesel was advertised for $4.19 a gallon. [:0]

It would appear that I put only 7063.2 miles on her in all of 2007. That's not an average number for me at all!!! Maybe I drove Baby a little bit last year as well [?] [?] [?]
