    • 60V-29609 - convertible - for sale on Ebay, August 2018.

automatic tranny, climitizer, radio, lighter, power steering.

Information from listing: This car has very nice paint with one small chip by the antenna. Very nice interior with no holes. The engine compartment is like new, all gauges work. No rust observed anywhere. Equipped with power steering, there is some play in steering. Since I purchased this car I have done the following things: Heads rebuilt with hardened seats for unleaded gas, new valve guides, rebuilt power steering pump, new larger radiator, thermostat, hoses and heavy duty water pump. New motor for convertible top. Electronic ignition and coil. Synthetic DOT 5 brake fluid. Have all four Studebaker repair and parts manuals. New weather stripping inside doors (passenger side door is a bit harder to close). This car is kept inside and is a nice little driver.

            • 60V-29311 - for sale on Craigslist, Orange County California, September 2018.

Ad: 1960 Studebaker Lark VIII 4-door wagon. This is a fantastic project for someone who wants a great starting point on a nostalgic, very rare wagon. All original California wagon, original engine and trans. Original black plate car with little to no rust. It has the 289 V8 with auto trans. The engine will turn over and run, but does need to be towed to new home. The body is very straight and in good shape. Just needs sanding love and is ready for paint. Needs complete interior. All glass and chrome is there.

Climitizer, push button radio, automatic transmission, oil bath air cleaner, bumper guards, padded dash. Aftermarket AC would make a big hill in summer quite a challenge...

Information from ad: Up for bid is a 1960 Studebaker Lark Vl barn find. Looks like this car has been sitting inside all its life. This car is a project car. The body is very solid. Does have normal rust in the floors and some small amount of rust in the rockers. The car has been sitying since 2001. I did get the car running but it has no brakes so I did not drive it. The car is very complete. All the trim is on it. All four hub caps. The car is very solid arond the window with no rust . All the glass is good with no cracks. I dont think the car is missing anything. Very complete. It is a factory ac car. The body is in great shape with perfect pitina. The interior is all there but has rips in the seat and dash. Still has the spare tire and jack in the trunk. I do have a clear title.

As previously stated, that is an aftermarket A/C unit, not a 1960 Lark unit. I owned a 1960 Lark with A/C AND a V8.

Information from ad: 1960 Studebaker Lark Regal VI Wagon
One of only 1925 regal Wagons made in 1960, they made 5420 Deluxe Wagons that year. This car has the 170 cubic inch 6 cylinder motor and a 3 speed manual transmission. The VIN # is 60S2390I there are 40373 miles on it. It was last plated in 1994. The frame and body are very solid for a 58 year old car. I have NOS Front Fenders and NOS rockers for the car that go with the car.
All the glass is perfect, all the trim is present and in great shape. Both bumpers are straight with no dents but in need of plating. All emblems and tail lite lens are good and in place. I have a NOS drivers front door. There is the correct record radiator that goes with car. The motor currently does not run but is complete from air cleaner to starter. The floor in front has been patched (see pics). Interior fabric needs to be redone. The dash is original and complete. The rear glass and gate are very nice and work correct. Shocks and springs very good car sits square. All 4 hubcaps on car. This is a rare Studebaker wagon, many parts are available on line.

                          • Where's the wagon at?

As if I'm not already spent out for the year or the next two on Studebakers after buying that Land Cruiser....
1963 Champ "Stu Bludebaker"- sometimes driver
1957 Silver Hawk "Josie"- picking up the pieces after an unreliable body man let it rot for 11 years from an almost driver to a basket case
1951 Land Cruiser "Bunnie Ketcher" only 47M miles!
1951 Commander Starlight "Dale"- basket case
                            1947 Champion "Sally"- basket case
1941 Commander Land Cruiser "Ursula"- basket case

Ad states it is Grand Rapids, Michigan - but could probably be anywhere - not sure how Ebay is a stickler when it comes to where something is located.

                              • 60V-45761 - four door sedan - for sale on Ebay, October 2018.

Radio, climitizer, overdrive, front and rear bumper guards.

Information from ad: Up for sale from Studebaker Central is our 1960 Lark VIII Regal. This is a really great driver in wonderful shape for its age. The 1959 and 1960 Larks were among the best looking cars of the early sixties and this Lark is in Williamsburg green which you don't see very often. It's a wonderful example of an American icon. The drive line is totally original. It is a 259 with a two barrel and single exhaust and it is a three on the column with overdrive that works perfectly. This car will cruise all day long at 80. The brakes have been recently serviced with new master and wheel cylinders. The car has 205 radials on it and rides very nicely. The interior is completely original and in pretty good shape for 58 years old. There is a separation where the driver sits as shown in the pictures. There is a very small split (1/2 inch) on the dash pad. The carpets are original and it still has the production sheet under the rear carpet; still has the color code under the glove box. The radio works. The trunk pads are original.
You can get in this car and drive it anywhere. Please come save it.
I have been in the Studebaker Driver's club for 45 years and have several cars but I can no longer care for them as I always have and can no longer work on them the way I should. I have lots of projects and lots of parts including heads, starter motors, fenders, doors ,hoods, trunks, glass and stuff I haven't seen in years. There are Hawks, Avantis and Larks here, even one Champ.
This Lark has the typical patches on the front fenders but there is no rust in the floors or in the trunk. The frame is excellent. The car has been repainted once in its original Williamsburg green. The door jambs and inside the trunk were not repainted. The 68,000 miles on it are to my knowledge original and accurate.
