    Congrats on a nice car.

    Once you have the Shop Manual in hand to provide instruction, drain all the fluids; engine oil, trans oil, rear axle lube, brake fluid, coolant, air filter and power steering fluid, if so equipped. Then, refill per directions.

    This way, you'll know all systems are to capacity with correct fluids.

    The next step might be to replace the distributor points, condensor, rotor, cap, plug wires and spark plugs. These age out just sitting for years.

      Consider purchasing the parts manuals in addition to the shop manual. The illustrations provide a wealth of information and understanding.
