I received brake hoses from SI, 1557543 and they are 1/8 diameter. The hoses on my car with an apparent date code of 2/89 are 3/16". I trust SI but wanted to run it by the Forum. Perhaps a PO installed the wrong hoses?

Hoses or cross over diameter? The replacement hose is a smaller diameter outside but the same inside--different material. Also beware, the end going to the frame mount does not have a round "washer" built in and you need to find one that will space it far enough below the bracket so it doesn't pull through and so that the horseshoe clip will actually hold it in position--same as Avanti hose.Comment
