"May be Spring time." (sorry, I just couldn't let this pass... in this thread.)

I asked Stude Intern'l and they don't list them, although there is someone doing a search. Forget about asking the counter-bots at NAPA or the like. This was stuff from before the "Beginning of Time" for most of them.
I purchased some form Stude Itnl. last year. I gave them the # from the Avanti Parts Catalog. However, the washers were not NOS but rather a generic without the marks or stampings. Minor detail, but My suspension had never been apart and everything was original. My "helper" misplaced 4.

Yes, thanks.... Here's what I figured out. I ordered 4 from SI and they were almost flat, so rejected them asthought they would not be suitable. Emailed Dave Thibeault and he said could provide NOS. .... Ordered them and they were ALSO FLAT.

The original washers had a geometric curve that allowed the smaller diameter to bite onto the inner bushing sleeve and lock it against the mounting pin, so as to immobilize the bushing on the shaft.

Realizing that the NEW A-Arm bushings were a GM(?) design, NOT actually what Studebaker used, the inner bushing sleeve is longer than the original. The FLAT washers would actually work, but are still too tight (IMO) against the rubber.

What I did was to get a dozen Metric washers (12mm?) and ground the edges down so they'd fit inside the new rubber and around the cap bolt shoulder, which in effect, acts to extend the inner sleeve even further out. After a test on a spare pin, found that 2 washers per bushing work very well (1/8"?).

After tightening, they'll be about 3/16" closer to the bushing...
