Not enough information. Does it have gas to carb when it quits? Does it have a spark when it quits?

          We need more info!

          1) Is this a Studebaker OHV 170 C.I. 6 Cyl. engine as opposed to a Chrysler "slant 6"?

          2) What year car is it?

          3) Is this carb. an RBS Carter (round tin bowl, type float bowl) as used on '63-'64 Studebakers?
If so, it is going to be very hard to repair, because when they wear, they are junk, not repairable. [V]

Is choke opening when it warms up? If so sounds like could be something electrical. Ignition resistor good candidate but just guess.
            Need more information on car.
