  • Search for 62 Hawk jack

I am looking for a jack for my 62 Hawk, former owner must of had another use for it as it was missing from the trunk. I have the jack handle, lugwrench, but need a functioning jack the post and base. Also need spaire tire hold down plate and bolt. These items don't have to be in mint condition, I can paint and cleanup, but must work on the car. I will be at Monroe swapmeet on saturdaythe 6th. Or at Portland swapmeet on saturday October 13. You can call after 5 eves 360-651-2406 or e mail. Thank you Lou Cote

Lou, check SASCO. Get the numbers out of the parts manual and poke them in; I believe he still has all the parts for complete '62 jack setups.

Clark. I don't have a parts manual. Can anyone help me out with the parts numbers for a complete jack for a 62 Hawk. I do have the lug wrench and the bracket and wing nut that holds jack in the stored position but that is all. Thanks for your help in advance Lou Cote

            Lou:

Manual lists the jack for 1962 C/K cars as p/n 1551966, used with base 1551967. Unfortunately, SASCO is out of stock (although they do have jacks in stock for '62 Larks!).

Try Tom Karkewicz (sp) in So. Bend he drives the white school bus to swap meets. He generally has all that stuff. The jack would be for show only I "assume" as why would anybody use a bumper jack on a nice chrome bumper?
