I recently visited the local Radio Shack store to pick up a couple of their 6 volt relays, 275-0226, which can be used to rebuild original 6 volt OD relays. Apparently they no longer stock them and this store had either sold out or pulled existing stock. If you anticipate rebuilding any relays it might be a good idea to check for availability in your area especially since they are going to shut down a lot of stores and probably reduce their hobby inventory. The $8 or so cost of the relay is a lot cheaper than a NOS or used relay and probably more reliable. Has anyone found a readily available alternative?

Electrical: 6 volt OD relay source
American iron, real old school
With two tone paint, it sure is cool
Its got 8 cylinders and uses them all
With an overdrive that just won't stall
With a 4 barrel carb and dual exhausts
With 4.23 gears it can really get lost
Its got safety belts and I ain't scared
The brakes are good and the tires are fair.
Tried to sell her, but got no taker
I"ll just keep driving my StudebakerTags: None
