I looked at a couple of 57 G Hawks tonight. Can anyone tell me the original colors they were and interior color, without me having to send off for prod order? Would that also tell the fin accent?

The Production order would show the Fin Color as the Two-Tone minor Color.

I doubt that anyone has copies of all the '57 Golden Hawk Production Orders.

Look under the Glove box for the paper tag that MAY still be glued to the bottom with the Color Codes.

Were there any red factory seats with black inserts?

The Studebaker National Museum would have all the production orders for the 1957 Golden Hawk model Rich.

I owned years ago a 57 GH and it had original red interior. Don't recall the black insert though.

Here is how the paper tag under the glove box looks like. I have red Vinyl interior in my 57 Golden Hawk, the rear seats are original, however, there are no black inserts.

My memory says NO. My own 1957 Golden Hawk had (all) red vinyl seats.

Gary, you mentioned that your own 57 Golden Hawk had all red vinyl seats. If you have a photo of the front seats, I would appreciate it, mine had been changed at some point. Only the rear seats appear original. Thank you

As previously answered, no I do not have any pictures of it.

The problem is that people do not read as well as they should before they post.

That is true, but it does not work if you take it out of context!

ANYONE, refers to an individual OTHER than the already acknowledged SNM by the Original Poster, so he said he KNEW they are there but wanted someone to do what Bob Palma and others do for the Super Hawks/Larks, divulge his personal info for free, which is OK if he choses to do that. But unless there is something I do not know about '57 GH info, NO ONE has those copies.

This not French, should be pretty clear, sorry about the rant but this contradicting is getting old.
