Fuel System: 8E5 fuel tank size.

I filled my tank today, the gage said less than 1/4 and it took 15.4 gal of prem., no eth. to fill. ($65) Is this a 18 gal. tank? I've had a Champ before, but it's been a long time and I've forgotten the tank size.

Yes the Standard Tank on "C" and "T" Cabs is 18.0 Gal.

You may be a Gal. or 2 too low on the Gauge, depends on How much below 1/4 it was, if so the Cork is getting saturated and sinking the float. Time for the Ford Copper Float upgrade talked about here a lot.
