Can any of you guys help me find a suitable new make carburetor for my 1957 Commander?

What make you think that the carb can not be fixed?If you car is ugly then it better be fast.....

A 1957 Commander would have (originally at least) a 259 with either a 2 or 4 barrel carb. You need to contact Jon Myers or Dave Thibeault and have your carb professionally rebuilt.

Those were good carbs, either 4bbl or 2bbl. If you have an existing carb, it can be rebuilt until it has serious structural issues where someone fractured a casting or something.
Don't fool around looking for an "alternate" carburetor. It'll never fit, look, and operate as well as either original carburetor on a 1957 Commander engine. BP

That carb 2bbl Should be a Stromberg WW and you just about have to beat them with a hammer for them to have a problem. I have seen local club members that have had problems with them and the problem was not with the carb......took me half a minute to fix what they thought was a problem....If you car is ugly then it better be fast.....
