I did a couple of searches but if it has been covered I must be missing the magic words.
The latches (little handle you twist to lock/open) on the front vent windows on my 53 C are pretty gnarly so I'd like to remove them so I can either source replacements or get these rechromed. I see a little pin or screw that goes through the side of the assembly, but can't tell what it is or how to remove it.
Is it a set screw and I simply need to clean it up a bit? Or is a pin I need to drive through?
Of course the windows are cracked too so maybe I should just replace both entire assemblies with ones in better condition and not worry about it (if you happen to have some that are pretty. . .)
