I know I'm gonna get some giggles and abuse for asking this, but I've big shoulders and can take it. The sharp tongues haven't run me off yet.
Any way I'd like to find someone in a dry climate that might have a 59 to 66 lark body parts car that might have front door post bottoms and surrounding areas that are somewhat rust free or not paper thin. Would like them cut above the lower hinge box, through the toeboard and at least 12in.inward 12in. toward the seat. I got this idea after seeing the immense gathering of dry Arizona Stude bodies featured in the current "Wheel"(Chuck N's place).
Seems if this dream could be realized, It would make it easier to fix these areas with exact replacements, as opposed to cutting and fitting something close.
If such a thing is out there, I'd be interested. The factory rust option on my 66 Daytona isn't real severe, but I want to do it correctly and have it be stucturally sound. Door don't sag yet, close very soundly. Car only has 51k, so worth fixing.
Thanks in advance,
Kim
