  • Linkage needed.

I am in need of the linkage that goes from the steering column to the Automatic transmission, the inserts/bushings are needed as well. Ive tried a couple of places and no one seems to save this stuff.[B)] You can contact me off forum. Thanks![8D]

Edit: Sorry I knew it was an Automatic I figured everyone else knew as well...[:I]

Don't know if your transmissionis automatic or not, but if automatic and you can't find the parts you need, you may want to try www.lokar.com they are a Hot Rod parts mfg. but they carry an automatic cable shift linkage. I am converting my Chamnp Pickup to a 700R4 transmission and their linkage seems to work perfectly. Don't know if this helps, but...

        A shift rod (link) from a 59-60-81 Lark type (W/auto trans) will fit - V8 & 6 used the same. Part# 1547593 '62-3-4 carry a different part number.

There's NO bushing at the upper end - only a washer and a cotter pin. At the lower end, there's a swivel part #1541533
