  • Headliner kit

I have a chance to buy a perforated headliner kit. The seller's father had bought it, and there's no information on which C cabs it fits. Did the C cabs with smaller back window use the perforated headliner?

If it's the kit for the small back window, won't I be able to modify it by cutting out to the right size for the larger window of the '57? Are the edges that meet the window covered by trim?

Thanks, you guys are full of help.

Call William Fennessey and ask him. 615-662-5013. 217 Andover Way, Nashville, TN 37221-3005. He sells them, and he'll have the answer.

Just a word of caution. Just installed a vinyl headliner kit and my installer said it was too thin, brittle and inflexible to stretch appropriately. Could be old stock? Anyway, old may be more expensive than new when you figure in the hours. Good luck!

This kit is like the original pressed cardboard, so I don't expect flexibility to be a problem, but it could still be brittle. That's a good word.

        Thanks for the referral, Larry.
