Installing Turner front discs on my 63' Avanti, but stuck with 2 questions by my mechanic... 1) Do I run this direct off the dual master cylinder, or do I need a pressure equalizer valve adapter? 2) Do I need a Stop light switch adapter? Thanks for any help.

Not a direct answer to your question, but when Avanti Motor Company began installing a dual master cylinder, they also installed a distribution block directly underneath for the brake lines to go into and out of. The pressure activated brake light switch threaded into that instead of into the master cylinder, like Avanti's with the single master cylinder did.
You're far better off installing a mechanical brake light switch...one of those costs between $5-$10, depending where you buy it (I bought mine at Pep Boys for about $8.00). If you have a copy of Stan Gundry's book what the Avanti Shop Manual doesn't tell you, it has all the instructions. There's also a writeup in the Avanti Magazine that just arrived in the mail on the same thing. It's a great conversion and more reliable than the pressure activated switch.
You can probably get a distribution block from either Jon Myers or Dan Booth at Nostalgic Motors. You can also get an adjustable proportioning valve from Summit Racing or Jeg's and adjust it to work best for you.Poet...Mystic...Soldier of Fortune. I ran my car without a prop valve with no adverse effects or weird braking.
The mechanical switch is so easy to install and works perfectly there's no reason to consider keeping the old hydraulic switch.
BTW, I now have JT's discs in the rear along with the front and still no prop valve and have 'hit them hard' from 90+ mph with no rear lockup or pulls. Great system.
