They pop up on ebay once in awhile. I've operated my car for years without it because the dash light settings on an Avanti are dim and dimmer. I figured I didn't need to lower them so I never bothered to install the one I bought.

Just wanted to close this out. Found the resistor at Jon Meyer's business. Going to order it today.
