Does anyone know if front fender patch panels are available for a 1966 Studebaker Daytona? I need the area behind the wheel opening on the front fender. If not, does anyone know if another auto's patch panels will work? If so, please advise where I can get them. Thanx, in advance, for your assistance.

New Old Stock (NOS) outer front fenders for 1964 to 1966 Larks are still avaible from several Studebaker vendors realtively cheap, such as SASCO ($127ea), Stephen Allen ($108ea) and Wisconsin Studebaker, 715-643-2028; Email: jbwistude@wwt.net (not sure on availablity or price but they used to have them listed well below other vendors). Frankly by the time you mess around with patches, you can buy new for not a whole lot more (probably less if you have to farm out any of the body/paint work) and new will give you much better results. The one drawback is you'll need to cut out the spot welds to the inner fenders and have the new ones welded back on, altought I've seen them rivited back on and they appeared to fit and function quite well, just wasn't how the facotory did it. BTW NOS inner fenders and the headlight panels are also availble for not much money too.
