  • Using Chevy VC Gaskets

Has anyone here actually used Chevy valve cover gaskets on a Stude? I know that the Stude covers will fit the '87-up small block Chevy with the 4 bolt cover and the Chevy covers *should* go on a Stude. It might be something to really check out, they make REAL good gaskets for Chevies.

I would like to know the answer to this as well, I have a pair of Offy valve covers with no "lip" on the sealing surface, if they work I'd like to use the steel core neoprene gaskets they sell for Chevys to prevent them from sucking in/blowing out. No local parts store has 'em in stock for me to look at though, and nobody I know has any SBC valve covers laying around.

    thanks
